Town is 13 miles east of Hwy. 395, on Hwy. 270, which is 6 miles
south of Bodie Victorian Hotel. Hwy. 270 is well maintained & not
paved the final 3 miles. Bodie State Historic Park, Box 515, Bridgeport,
California 93517. A nominal admission is charged at Bodie Ghost
Town. |

World famous Mono (a caldera)
Lake is part of our local chain of volcanoes. 85% of the California
Gull population nests here each year on Mono Lakes Tufa (mineral) islands
where they remain remote from predators. Mono Lake is near Yosemite
National Park, Bodie Ghostown, and only 15 minutes from The Bodie Victorian
Hotel where you are most welcome. |
